Here are some of the more important dates for our capital campaign.
Information Meetings
Every member of St. Peter’s is invited and encouraged to attend one of these gatherings. You may choose to go to any one of them. These information meetings will update you on the project and invite you to pray for and participate in this important step for our congregation.
- April 15 at 9:30am (Sunday)
- April 15 at 12:00pm (Sunday)
- April 16 at 11:00am (Monday)
- April 17 at 4:30pm (Tuesday)
- April 18 at 6:45pm (Wednesday)
- April 19 at 12:00pm (Thursday)
- April 22 at 9:30am (Sunday)
Commitment Sunday – May 6
At each worship service on Commitment Sunday, May 6th, every family and member of our church who is present will have the opportunity to offer their Estimate of Giving card during worship. Please have the card completed with your prayerful estimate for this Building to Bless campaign, whatever your sacrificial decision is. Cards will also be available to those who did not bring one.
Remember all commitments to Building to Bless are for three years, and are above what you regularly give to the Operating Budget of St. Peter’s every year. All commitments will be confidential. If your card is received May 6th, you will receive no further contacts concerning our campaign.
Response Calls – May 14 – 18
During this period a Response Team Member will contact families unable to attend Commitment Sunday. They will encourage you to return your Estimate of Giving card to the church office or make arrangements to have your card picked up, whichever is more convenient for you.
Celebration Sunday – May 20
Between our two worship services on Celebration Sunday we will enjoy fellowship and a reception, as well as the announcement of the total amount committed to the campaign. We will thank God for the many blessings with which we have been provided. Then our three-year giving period begins on June 1, 2018.
