Today we held a special congregational meeting to make some decisions on the building project. Over the past couple of months, a special Master Plan Taskforce met (while we paused our current building project design) to develop how we will use the larger campus and facilities we have to steward. The pandemic taught us that in terms of facilities, they need to be and multi-use as possible, and to create more outdoor gathering spaces to be used by congregation and available for our larger community. We also wanted to finish upgrading the sanctuary, as well as install easy-to-use Zoom classrooms for small groups to use (from confirmation, to Sunday school, to book clubs, to Ministerial Alliance meetings, and beyond). Below is the congregationally approved master campus plan, as well as an update on the cost and direction of the Building to Bless program.
