Greetings St. Peter’s!
In June we exceeded our campaign goals and are now over $1,000,000 in commitments. Soon after we installed our Building Committee to finalize drawings and move us toward groundbreaking.
You may wonder where our campaign and project are since the summer! In terms of commitments received, we are already past the 1/3 mark (over $340,000), only three months into the 3-year capital campaign. This is amazing and we thank everyone for their current and ongoing giving for Building to Bless. Thank you also to our St. Peter’s School who gave $5000 to the campaign as well as an on-going $500/month commitment. Yes, we are all Building to Bless together!
The Building Committee began meeting regularly in late August. The committee is taking into account feedback from the congregation in how we might increase the size of our fellowship hall to future ministry. The committee is looking at a number of options made possible by us greatly exceeding our campaign goal. The committee is planning a fall presentation to the congregation (date TBD) to update everyone on their project. I believe you will be excited to see and hear what they have been working on!
